Rudolf is a family-run company with over 90 years of history and several business divisions. Of those we look after construction chemicals only — textile finishing and paint additives are not part of our range, and we do not advise on them.
From the construction chemicals programme come water-repellent treatments for mineral substrates: they reduce capillary water uptake without sealing the structure, so it can continue to dry out. Alongside them come further construction-chemical specialities for mineral systems and surface protection. Fluorine-free technologies are available. What determines durability is the substrate, the penetration depth and the conditions during application.
