In plastics processing, additives decide whether a formulation runs cleanly at all: whether fillers and pigments stay evenly distributed, whether the melt passes stably through the line, and whether the part finally reaches the required properties. The higher the recyclate content, the more demanding this becomes — fluctuating input quality has to be absorbed by the formulation.
We carry several established BYK ranges for this: coupling agents based on functionalised polyolefins, which bond glass and natural fibres or mineral fillers to the matrix; additives for recyclate processing; and dispersing and viscosity control additives for PVC plastisols.
