OEM coating is the most tightly specified coating process there is: every layer — e-coat, filler, basecoat, clearcoat — is stoved under defined conditions, and every disruption costs line time. Craters, popping and mottling are not cosmetic flaws here but causes of rejects; the additive package must be absolutely reproducible from batch to batch.
We supply the BYK additives for substrate wetting, levelling, air release and pigment orientation, melamine crosslinkers from Prefere Melamines for the stoving systems, and polyester and acrylic resins from Synres.
