Wood is unforgiving: the film has to stay transparent, enhance the grain evenly and still resist scratches and chemicals — and with furniture, haptics come on top, from the satin table top to the dead-matt parquet floor. Waterborne systems add demands on defoaming and levelling, because every bubble and every crater stays visible in the clear coat.
